Finaly updated my OS from Win 8.1 Pro 64bit on my Desktop yesterday. It is a beautiful OS. After last years update from Win XP SP3 I was amazed that the programs where still in place & on the task bar. Bravo Microsoft. I know I do not spend to much time at AutoDesk, maybe 4 years ago to set up the original acount for AutoCAD 2013 & a little while back to set up AutoCAD360 on my Samsung tablet. Also about 3 weeks ago I decided to try & backup my files to AutoCAD 360 but decided that Dropbox had already done that after 360 reported the 3rd file upload was corupted? It showed up fine from the Dropbox account.

True.DWG being the usual record on opening AutoCAD 2013. I am not sure but I would guess that I purchased 2013 on E-bay as I had done for AutoCAD 14 etc. With somebody elses credit card & (mine from Bermuda was not excepted?) AutoCAD-2002(?) before I made the big jump to 2013. I never questioned the serial number as the system ran fine & established my account at AutoDesk. After the final re-boot of Win 10 Update I clicked the AutoCAD 2013 icon in the task bar & low & behold the system ran license check to declare that the serial number was invalid! I proceeded directly to my AutoDesk account to check the serial numbers & was informed that my system manager had the serrial numbers which was in fact true as it was a standalone installation with a perpetual license in my companies name on my companies desktop linked directly to my hotmail account.

I had used Snagit to capture the AutoCAD-2013 Product info as a.jpg when I first installed & last week before the update. The serial numbers are the same. Now I am in a real pickle. I will have to revert back to the restore point I set before the Win 10 Update to see if AutoCAD-13 runs with the invalid serial number as I am in the middle of the biggest residential design job of my life & can not afford to pay for the new AutoCAD License with valid serial numbers even if I get paid. I am weary of the E-bay re-sellers even though their efforts made it completley affordable, their invalid serial numbers may infact have been derived from the original upgrade from AutoCAD-14 purchased on E-bay circa 1987-9? I can hear the violins playing too, but the blue print files & development applications have to be made forthwith.

Two days of triumph followed by tragedy. MY Humblest appologies to the AutoDesk team.

Their work has been exceptional through out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The following attachments might be informative though I am not sure how it might formulate a solution to my plight. Heinzstapff@hotmail.com somosplanes@gmail.com weareplans@outlook.com.
