The new Cook County Hospital is home to one of the nation’s top emergency medicine residency programs. We are internationally known for our strong clinical services and wonderfully diverse patient population. Our residents learn the practice of emergency medicine with the guidance of knowledgeable clinical faculty. We supplement clinical experiences with outstanding didactics using multiple modalities such as small group teaching, patient simulation, cadaver-based procedural labs, and intensive educational courses.
